    The concept of Halalan Toyyiban is very important in Muslims’ lives in their servitude to Allah. The business itself is broken down into many different kinds, one of those which has become the trend nowadays is Multi-Level Marketing (MLM). MLM business is a business model that involves selling and recruitment of new distributors into the company. Multi-Level Marketing is seen to be good as it helps many people to achieve their dreams, the contrary, it is observed as a medium of cheating. With its players reaching 2 million in Malaysia since its establishment in the early 1990s, MLM’s presence in the business industry should not be taken lightly. This research attempts to analyse the current MLM system and its factors that can be categorised as Halalan Toyyiban, as well as the factors which lead to the destruction. This factor includes the system itself, manufacturing, the distribution channels, the after-sales service, and the long-run vision of the company. By doing this, it is aimed that the doubtful (Syubhah) or even the impermissible (Haram) practices of MLM can be eliminated and abstained by the Muslim players, and it is expected that better MLM companies can be established, using proper S.O.P and guidelines.     An enhancement of path selection to cluster head based on multi-hop routing in two-tier wireless sensor network

    Wireless Sensor Network (WSN) is a distributed wireless connection that consists many wireless sensor devices. It is used to get information from the surrounding activities or the environment and send the details to the user for future work. Due to its advantages, WSN has been widely used to help people to collect, monitor and analyse data. However, the biggest limitation of WSN is about the network lifetime. Usually WSN has a small energy capacity for operation, and after the energy was used up below the threshold value, it will then be declared as a dead node. When this happens, the sensor node cannot receive and send the data until the energy is renewed. To reduce WSN energy consumption, the process of selecting a path to the destination is very important. Currently, the data transmission from sensor nodes to the cluster head uses a single hop which consumes more energy; thus, in this paper the enhancement of previous algorithm, which is MAP, the data transmission will use several paths to reach the cluster head. The best path uses a small amount of energy and will take a short time for packet delivery. The element of Shortest Path First (SPF) Algorithm that is used in a routing protocol will be implemented. It will determine the path based on a cost, in which the decision will be made depending on the lowest cost between several connected paths. By using the MATLAB simulation tool, the performance of SPF algorithm and conventional method will be evaluated. The expected result of SPF implementation will increase the energy consumption in order to prolong the network lifetime for WSN

Nowadays,the physically challenged and elderly people depends on other people to operate any appliances in the house and it is too risky for them as they can easily fall down while walking.Developing this type of system could help them to live independently and reduce the risk on elder people’s life.Besides that,home automation can also reduce the amount of energy used by the client or users.The complexity of the wiring for home automation is too high and the cost will be charged higher too.The basic is to make it financially affordable and simple to arrange,allowing more individuals to gain it for their home, work places and schools.Pushed on the intelligent and sorted out methods utilized as a part of building up a smart home system and security system.At the same time,find out how the electric component that will be used in this system and ensured that the components are suitable and economics.In addition,elaborates on how the overall operation of smart home system works.Other than that, analyse and discuss the result obtained from this system. Finally,concludes the overall system process and improvement required on smart home system using with mobile application system.A point by point explanation is given to the made outline and a future progress that may be directed under this field is recorded

    The effectiveness of new teaching style on the students’ performance in vector calculus during movement control order

    Teaching style becomes more challenging especially during Movement Control Order (MCO) due to Covid-19 pandemic. Thus, online learning be one of the new teaching styles used during MCO at all educations level. Therefore, to study the effectiveness of this style, this paper is to investigate the effect of the new teaching style on engineering student’s performance by determining the difference of overall scores between batches for each program in Vector Calculus (VC) course with ordinary and new teaching styles at Faculty of Engineering and Built Environment (FKAB), Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Nonparametric test is used in this study is Mann Whitney to analyze the difference of the teaching style. The finding revealed that that students’ achievements in VC course could significantly distinguished by two batches of students with different teaching and assessment modes. In contrast, JKKP program shows there is no significant difference in overall scores between batches with different teaching styles

    In this paper, we propose a training kit for developing a system to assist basic electrical control courses to the undergraduate students of Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. We present magnetic levitation hardware demonstrating a load hanging in the air with the help of electromagnetic coil. The students are provided with unassembled training kit project where they will use it to achieve several learning outcome. Technical data of the system is given along with a basic instruction manual as benchmark for the training kit. The magnetic levitation kits provide an open-ended design problem such as designing a sensor, load, closed loop feedback system and a lot more. The training kit is alter made to provide exciting and excellent teaching tools for controls system subject unlike the conventional trainer module

    Pre-treatment of oil palm frond biomass via extensive high temperature drying for gasification process

    Oil palm frond has been utilized as a solid biomass fuel for gasification to produce synthesis gas or syngas to be used for heat and power generation. A fuel pre-treatment method by means of extensively-drying OPF blocks at 150°C and 200°C for 4 hours was implemented to investigate the effects of the fuel in terms of drying efficiency and gasification performances. Tar, pyrolysis oil and condensates were found to be squeezed out by heat during drying, signifying volatilization of fuel at temperatures between water boiling point at 100°C and fuel pyrolysis point at 280°C. Syngas produced from the updraft gasification of extensively-dried OPF blocks was analyzed and tested for sustainable gas flares. The syngas was found to be composed of 16.5% CO, 10% CO2, 4% H2 and 0.9% CH4 and was produced at gasification temperatures lower than that exhibited by normal OPF blocks
